RHEL 8をサブスクリプションに登録する！

RHEL 8をインストール後、サブスクリプションを登録を行い、RHELのリポジトリを利用可能にします。

dnfコマンドを実行してみる！

RHELインストール直後に、dnfコマンドを実行してみます。サブスクリプションの登録が必要とのメッセージが出力されます。

# dnf update
Updating Subscription Management repositories.
Unable to read consumer identity

This system is not registered to Red Hat Subscription Management. You can use subscription-manager to register.

Error: There are no enabled repositories in "/etc/yum.repos.d", "/etc/yum/repos.d", "/etc/distro.repos.d".

サブスクリプションの登録状況を確認する！

サブスクリプションの登録状況を確認します。初期状態では、StatusがUnknownになっています。

# subscription-manager list

サーバをサブスクリプションに登録する！

サーバをサブスクリプションに登録します。サポートIDのユーザ名とパスワードの入力が必要です。※Simple Content Accessでサブスクリプションを管理している場合は、以降の「Pool ID」への紐付け（Attach）の手順は不要です。

# subscription-manager register

サブスクリプションの登録状況を確認する！

サブスクリプションの登録状況を確認します。まだ、この段階では、Statusが「Not Subscribed」で、サブスクリプションが登録されていません。

登録可能なサブスクリプションと「Pool ID」を確認する！

登録可能なサブスクリプションと「Pool ID」を確認します。

# subscription-manager list --available

Pool ID: <Pool ID>
...

「Red Hat Developer Subscription for Individuals」の「Pool ID」を確認します。

サーバをサブスクリプションの「Pool ID」に紐付ける！

サーバをサブスクリプションの「Pool ID」に紐付けます。

# subscription-manager attach --pool=<Pool ID>
Successfully attached a subscription for: Red Hat Developer Subscription for Individuals

サブスクリプションがサーバに紐付けられ登録されたことを確認する！

サブスクリプションがサーバに紐付けられ登録されたことを確認します。

# subscription-manager list

サブスクリプションの登録を削除する！

サブスクリプションの登録を削除する場合は、以下のコマンドを実行します。

# subscription-manager unregister
Unregistering from: subscription.rhsm.redhat.com:443/subscription

dnfコマンドを実行してリポジトリが使用できることを確認する！

dnfコマンドを実行してリポジトリが登録されていることを確認します。

# dnf repolist
Updating Subscription Management repositories.

おわりに

RHELは、コマンドラインでサブスクリプションの登録と削除を行うことができます。
